After a decade I would be in a position which I had dreamt to be or for which I tried my level best to reach. I wish to write a letter to future me about an event, which will be an evidence of what I was in my past and what improvements I have done in myself over a period of time.
Here goes a letter to future me.
Dear future Marisha
What’s up! Life has been, interesting, crazy, fun, boring, expected, unexpected- hope you have tasted the experience of life by now.
Despite all the constant frustration, you have managed to stand firm as a shining star. All things which you have undergone till now have shaped what you are today. Don’t change, all the success and failure and all the heartbreaking and heartwarming were all worth it. No regrets.
Hey that’s kind of a victory right?
Victory, victory…….. It reminds about our victory in brand war.
Yeah, a war of brand, a war of creative ideas, a war between different sections, a war between friends and finally a war which was completely from the wars which we had read in our history classes because it was a Brand War. It was organized to develop the marketing skills of students, but ended up bringing unity in class. We all were busy in winning the competitionhile we forgot that all those small things which we did have become sweet memories.
I hope you remember that you were the part of creative and promotion team. Getting tensed, worried about the pending work and thinking about completing it as soon as possible. Being in these you gained more as it added up more your known little ideas.
I’m sure that as days passed you have been more creative and know many ideas to promote your thoughts. Because nothing is impossible in today’s world. Hope you remember the second day of brand war, where the planning was not done properly and executed. We all were seeing with the tensed minds, confused eyes our hard work was going to be flourished in no time. Yet we tried our level best and our faith and trust on each other again made us to shine in front of all. Finally when the results were to be announced the tone heard was “The Winner Of Brand War 2016-17 is MELAX section- B” it was a proud moment for all of us because the class which was hidden in the dark clouds was finally out with the biggest Victory.
As now you have spent half of your life, I think capturing any moment in camera has become your passion. Because during the brand war when all were busy in other work, you used to see how your two friends were trying to capture the perfect shot. Now you might have your own one and you might have captured beautiful memories in an album in a very creative way. Every day promotion in quadrangle. Every day coming up with innovative ideas and maintain some sort of secrets where we were wrong just to overcome all the criteria’s of brand war. Even though we could not execute our exact plans at the end of the day when we recalled we could make out that we were far better from what we had actually planned.
Brand war was mainly about being creative, innovative. In short it was all about marketing our ideas and financing our thoughts. It helped many to understand what is very unique in them when compared to their friends. You remember people talking that brand war gave us the exposure to some activities which takes place in the corporate world. Brand war became a source for some people to make their future bright by opting marketing as their specialization but I think there were some people like you who had firm goal being what they want to be this brad war dint shaken him except improving their skills.
I know you will be surprised when you read this letter and be amazed to flashback the memories which you have lived in your past. As it was written none other than your old self you will feel proud to compare and see where you have reached now. Just have confidence in self and be the way you love to live. Always have time to do what you love and have some time to spend with your loved ones. Just want to tell you be strong, hard, tough and rise as a shining star in this world.
